Terms of Service

By accessing or using ClaimTheWorld.lol ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.

ClaimTheWorld.lol is a platform where users bid to own geographic territories displayed on an interactive world map and attach promotional content to those territories.

Territory ownership is temporary and competitive. Any user may outbid the current owner at any time. We do not guarantee you will retain any territory you acquire.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time without notice.

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You may not create accounts for the purpose of disrupting others or manipulating territory prices.
• One account per person. Multiple accounts may be terminated without refund.

Bids are binding. When you place a bid and the payment is confirmed, you are obligated to pay the stated amount. Territory ownership transfers only after payment is successfully processed.

No refunds for outbids. If you are outbid by another user after taking ownership, your payment is not refunded. This is a core mechanic of the Platform.

Failed payments. If your payment fails, the bid is cancelled and the territory is not transferred. We will notify you of payment failures.

Concurrency. If two users bid simultaneously, only one bid can win. We use server-side locking to determine the winner. The losing bid is cancelled and not charged.

All prices are in USD. Payments are processed by Stripe and subject to their Terms of Service.

Owning a territory grants you the right to display a promotion (title, description, link) on that territory for as long as you remain the highest bidder.

Ownership is lost immediately and automatically when a higher bid is confirmed. We are not liable for any loss of promotional time, visibility, or revenue resulting from being outbid.

Takeovers. A user may claim a parent territory (e.g. a country) by outbidding all owners of its child territories simultaneously. All affected owners are notified. Takeover bids must exceed the combined value of all child territories per the platform's configured rules.

You may not use territory promotions to display, link to, or promote:

• Illegal products, services, or activities in any jurisdiction where the Platform operates.
• Malware, phishing pages, or deceptive URLs.
• Hate speech, harassment, threats, or content that targets individuals or groups based on protected characteristics.
• Pornographic or sexually explicit content.
• Content that violates the intellectual property rights of others.
• Spam or mass unsolicited promotions.
• Content designed to mislead users about the nature of the linked destination.

We reserve the right to remove any promotion and suspend any account that violates these rules, without refund.

We may review, remove, or disable any promotion at our sole discretion. We are not obligated to pre-screen content but will act on valid reports.

If your promotion is removed for a policy violation, you lose your territory and no refund is issued. Serious or repeated violations may result in a permanent account ban.

To report a promotion, use the Report button on any territory page.

View and click analytics provided to territory owners are based on our best-effort tracking. We do not guarantee the accuracy of analytics data and are not liable for decisions made based on analytics figures.

We implement anti-spam measures to prevent view inflation. We reserve the right to adjust or correct analytics counts at any time.

You retain ownership of any content you submit (promotion titles, descriptions, images). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display that content on the Platform.

ClaimTheWorld.lol and its design, code, and branding are owned by us. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without permission.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties — express or implied — regarding uptime, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

We are not responsible for the content of external websites linked from territory promotions. Clicking a territory link takes you to a third-party site at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClaimTheWorld.lol and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including lost revenue, lost territories, or loss of promotional time — arising from use of the Platform.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
