If the territory is unclaimed, starting bids begin at $10. If it's already owned, you must outbid the current owner by at least 5-10% depending on the current bid amount.

Your promotion is shown whenever someone clicks or hovers over your territory on the map. Analytics track every view and click in real time.

Yes — in production, bids are real payments processed by Stripe. In development mode, payments are simulated. You only pay if you win a territory.
You immediately lose the territory and your promotion is removed. You'll receive an email with a direct link to outbid the new owner. Your payment is not refunded, but you can bid again.

A view is counted once per session per territory. A click is counted when someone clicks your destination link from the territory panel or territory page.
A takeover allows you to claim an entire parent territory (like a whole country) by outbidding all owners of its sub-territories at once. The minimum bid must exceed the combined value of all child territories.
